Laura Louise Galbraith

Laura Galbraith, loving sister, aunt, cousin and friend went to be with her Lord Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at age 57.

She is survived by her sister, Beth; Beth’s husband, Scott; niece, Joanna; nephew, Nathan and his wife, Marly. She also leaves behind her Aunt Eleanor and the many cousins who have been her close family throughout her life. Laura was preceded in death by her mother and father, Marjorie and Alfred Galbraith.

Laura was an accomplished Forensic Scientist, working at both the FBI and APD, and was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Blackhawks and Lobos. She was an eager volunteer with animal rescue and devoted to her own rescued dogs. Throughout Laura’s long fight with cancer her motto remained “God is good all the time. All the time God is good”.

A Celebration of Laura’s Life will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at New Covenant Church, 7201 Paseo Del Norte Blvd NE, Albuquerque. Memorial contributions may be made to Lap Dog Rescue of New Mexico and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
