Larry Thomas

Our beloved husband, brother, uncle and grandfather, Larry Thomas, 62, died suddenly at home on Tuesday morning, March 19, 2013 of natural causes. Larry was born April 24, 1950 in Rehoboth, New Mexico. He enjoyed working in his business for Financial Planning, Tax Assistance and Accounting. He was a member of NRA and loved hunting. He enjoyed attending the Navajo Code Talkers events as a representative for his Code Talker father, Richard Thomas. Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Margie Thomas; three brothers, Mark Thomas of Iyanbito, Gilbert Shorty of Gallup and Jimmy Shorty of Albuquerque; three sisters, Geraldine Thomas of Denver, Emma Etsitty of Mexican Springs and Edna Nunes of Shiprock; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and grandchildren. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Nasbah Thomas. Services will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Friends may visit one hour prior to services at FRENCH - Lomas from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Larry may be made to Albuquerque Rescue Mission, 525 2nd St SW Albuquerque, NM 87102.
