Larry Donald Stolworthy

Larry was born in Kirtland, NM on June 2, 1932.  He was one of 13 children of Jesse Henry Stolworthy and Lula Lurene (Gillespie) Stolworthy.  He was raised in Kirtland but in his teen years the family moved to Durango, CO.  He met his first wife, Bonny Jean Money and had 5 children, Debra, Larry, Penny, Kyna, and Donald. They lived in Colorado until 1963 and then moved to Questa, NM and lived there until 1969. In 1969 the family moved to Wyoming where Larry worked as a heavy-duty mechanic at the mines in the southern part of the state. He loved Wyoming and lived there for 33 years until the death of Bonny in 2001. In 2002, he married his second wife, Zittella Wentz, they bought a home in Albuquerque and began a happy new life with this new beginning and family. Zittella and Larry were married for 17 years. This marriage brought him four more children, Craig, Lila, Freda, and Gary. Larry is also the uncle to many nieces and nephews. Larry is also survived by his 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. In loving memory of Larry. He will be greatly missed and is dearly loved!
