Larry Castillo-Wilson

Rev. Larry Eugene Castillo-Wilson, age 65, of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Larry is survived by wife, Rosa Castillo-Wilson of 43 years; his son, Casidy Castillo-Wilson, of Dallas, TX; his daughter, Carisa Bustillos-Givens and husband, Alester, of Cedar Hill, TX; two granddaughters, Ysabel Merrian and Reina Tian; his sister, Marcia Harlan and husband, Stan, of San Marcos, TX; his brother, Ron Wilson and wife, Karen, of Garland, TX; and his sister Linda Hendryx, of Central Point, OR; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Merriam Wilson; and his brother, Jimmy Wilson; mother-in-law, Valentina Gomez; son-in-law, Michael Bustillos. Larry was born August 21, 1947 in Downey, California. He married the love of his life, Rosa Linda Castillo, on June 7, 1970. He served as a minister in the United Methodist Church Conference since 1972. Throughout his life, Larry enjoyed historical research, writing poetry, and bike riding. He was a loving father, husband, and friend to all. A Celebration of his life and memorial service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2013, 10:00 am, at St. John's United Methodist Church 2626 Arizona St NE Albuquerque, NM 87110.
