Juanita Eyer passed away on May 8, 2015 at Anna Kaseman's Hospice Unit, Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was 94 years old. She was born Juanita Peacock in Macomb, Oklahoma, November 9, 1920. She moved to Hatch, New Mexico in 1925. She graduated from Hatch High School and attended Hotel Dieu School of Nursing in El Paso, Texas graduating in 1939. She moved to Albuquerque in 1954. She was a member of the Las Cruces Order of Eastern Star, Silver Life Master of duplicate bridge and an original member of the Albuquerque Duplicate Bridge club. She was a nurse in Las Cruces and Albuquerque as well as a fashion model in Albuquerque. She was married to Philip E. Eyer on December 26, 1941, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents Virgil W. Peacock and Anna Parks Peacock; and brothers Leroy Peacock, Allison Peacock, Donald Peacock and Howard Peacock. She is survived by her sister Eloise Taylor of Las Cruces and many nieces and nephews. She will have a memorial Service on Saturday, May 16, 2105 at 4:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming and burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
