Kylie Grace Wilson, born on September 30, 2003, in Farmington, New Mexico was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 while surrounded by her family.
Kylie was a precious 18 year old filled with kindness, compassion and care, greeted each person she met with a beautiful smile. This smile earned her the nickname smiley Kylie by many. Her love for Christ was evident in her life. She loved deeply and demonstrated this love of Christ in all her relationships with family, friends, and even those she just met. Kylie's life would seem too short for many; however, those who were touched by her understood the quality of life far exceeds the quantity of time one lives. With a bright smile and a life filled with grace, Kylie exuded joy. Her fierce determination and warrior spirit inspired many throughout her battle with cancer. Kylie was a nurturer by design. She loved people, and always wanted to care for others. Kylie had faith in God, and trusted him with her whole heart. She wanted people to know how much He loves them, and she sought to be gracious to everyone she met.
Kylie graduated after being homeschooled during high school, and completed 18 hours of courses at Central New Mexico College in the dual credit program. She acted in lead roles with New Mexico Young Actors. She was also an extra on several movies and TV shows. Kylie sang in the praise team for her youth group, and most recently the Legacy Church and Vista Grande Church worship teams. Kylie worked as a receptionist at Maven Dentistry and was going to school to become a pediatric oncology nurse.
She is survived by her parents, Scott and Serena Wilson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; brother, Kaleb; and sister, Kennah; grandmother, LouEllen Wilson; as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 10, 2022, beginning at 9:00 a.m., at Sandia Baptist Church, 9429 Constitution Ave. NE. A Service will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Cancer Fund of New Mexico.
