Kristi Eileen (Gutierrez) Mortensen

Kristi Eileen Mortensen was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. She left this world on April 16, 2021 at the age of 46. She was born to Victor and Dorothy Gutierrez on June 10, 1974. After High School, aside from being a full-time mother and wife, she attended and graduated from Franklin Medical School and later furthered her education and graduated from University of Phoenix with a bachelor's in human services, all while holding down a full-time job with Bernalillo Public Schools. She loved her family, friends, and her dogs, but her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She spent her free time reading books, watching horror movies, hunting, camping, and caring for her grandchildren. She is survived by her parents, Victor and Dorothy Gutierrez; her husband, Scott Mortensen; children, Clinton and Brinli, Victoria and Josh, Dayna and Austin and Gage; six grandchildren, Dyllan, Hayden, Briton, Ryett, Dryfter and Axel; brothers, Steven Gutierrez and wife Martina, Gabriel Gutierrez, and wife Kendall; along with many nieces and nephews.

The family will be hosting a Reception at the Mortensen Residence on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 2:00 .p.m.
