For 38 weeks, Dad and Mama cared for and loved Korina deeply as she was growing in Mama’s womb. Korina used to love to play with dad as he poked mama’s stomach and she responded by kicking him back. Mama worked hard to research and work towards ensuring that Korina would enjoy the healthiest growth possible through her activities, eating, and health. Mama and Aunty Ashley participated in yoga and spent time sharing in their growth and development together. Dad dreamed one day of fixing up his boat to spend time teaching Korina how to fish and enjoy nature. Dad and Mama spent time shopping for all necessities to ensure that their first daughter would have everything she needed in every way possible. They wanted nothing more than the best for their first beautiful daughter.
Mama and Korina were well cared for by the amazing midwife group at Dara La Luz. Mama and Dad chose to use this group of midwives because their values, beliefs, and care aligned with everything that they wanted for their first daughter, Korina. Mama and Dad planned to provide the healthiest natural life for Korina.
While we may not understand God’s Will, we know that he has a special place in heaven reserved for Dad and Mama’s beautiful little girl, Korina.
Korina entered into eternal life perfectly… Perfectly without sin…Perfectly in her human body that she left for us to hold… Perfectly in the love that surrounded her… Perfectly in the dreams and prayers that dad and mama gave to her. We may not always understand God’s Will but we know that he does not make mistakes.
“Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
