Kitty Reynolds, 93, a long-time resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, August 29, 2019, after a short illness. Born in 1925, in Los Angeles, CA, to John and Mary Treglezoff, Kitty spent her formative years in loving relationships with her mother and two sisters. Sally loved to dance the jitterbug as a young woman, enjoyed going to movies and skating with her sisters and friends, and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room.
She married Odell C. Reynolds in 1942 and spent several years travelling with him as he served in the Air Force during World War II. Upon discharge from the service, the couple moved to Albuquerque. Kitty maintained the family home while O.C. and his family owned and worked with Reynolds Plumbing and Heating Co. in Albuquerque until his death in 1983. Kitty loved her pets dearly, truly enjoyed listening to audio books, and loved to wake up each morning with the view of her treasured Sandia Mountains.
She was preceded in death by her mother and sisters, and her husbands, O.C. Reynolds and Harry ‘Buck’ Schultz. She is survived by her son, Danny Reynolds of Roswell, NM; and her beloved daughter, Dale and spouse Penny of Albuquerque. She has several grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, who live around the country. Also surviving her is her dearest friend, Lorris Adams of Albuquerque.
The family is very grateful to Presbyterian Hospice and Brookdale Tramway Ridge for their care in her brief final illness. Memorial gifts may be made to Animal Humane New Mexico.
Kitty asked that there be no memorial or funeral service.
