Kirsten Baugher

Kirsten H. Baugher, 24, beloved daughter of Earl and Constance Baugher, was received into the arms of her loving Savior on April 21st, 2015. Kirsten was a student of Eastern New Mexico University, where she was studying for a degree in wildlife biology. Kirsten lived most of her grace-filled life in Albuquerque pursuing her passions for the outdoors, working with animals and taking care of children. She struggled with epilepsy and it's complications but she never let the disease slow her down or give her cause to complain. She was an avid horseback rider, rock climber and swimmer, but above all she was a joy to everyone who had the privilege of sharing in her short life. Always ready with a smile and a witty comment, she was the absolute favorite of all of her fourteen nieces and nephews. She always selflessly gave of herself, especially when it came to taking care of children, who seemed more comfortable with her than anyone else. She was an active member of the young-adult and youth groups of her Parish church and took her faith seriously, living it with an innocent, childlike trust in God. Kirsten was born on May 4th, 1990 in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Kirsten is survived by her parents; her siblings Brigitta, Justin, Leah, Colleen, Clare, Christian, and Gavin; her maternal grandmother Darlyene Cox; as well as fourteen nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on Monday April 27, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas, with the Rosary following at 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 28th at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Annunciation Parish at 2621 Vermont St. NE . Kirsten will be interred following the funeral at the Gate of Heaven cemetery at 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
