Kevin R. Hawthorn

Kevin R. Hawthorn, age 51, a life-long resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, May 31, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hawthorn; children, Chris Lino and fiancée Dominique, Chris Hawthorn and wife, Morgan, Caitie Martinez and husband, Steven, Elizabeth Hawthorn, Connor Lino, Jonathan Hawthorn, Hilary Hawthorn, Ceagan Lino and Everett Hawthorn; as well as grandchildren, Mariah, Kristen and James Hawthorn and newborn granddaughter, Tessa Ann Martinez. Kevin is also survived by his mother, Kay E. Hawthorn; sister, Robin Hawthorn and partner, Terry Soffer and brother, John (Kendall) Hawthorn and wife, Bonnie; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Kevin was predeceased by his dad, Raymond E. Hawthorn. Kevin worked as a surgical technologist all over Albuquerque, most recently at the VA. He loved his job and his co-workers. He was a veteran of the Army and the Reserves. Kevin was a Christian and considered Grace Church to be his home church. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at FRENCH-Wyoming. Services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio NE.
