Kenneth Williams, 92, was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 29, 1923 in Quincy, IL to Joe and Vera Williams. In 1936 he moved to Albuquerque, NM with his family. He graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1942. Kenny was proud to serve in the US Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne during the Battle of the Bulge. He earned a Purple Heart medal which was presented to him by his favorite general; Jim Gavin. He was a lifetime member of the MOPH Chapter 1966.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 68 1/2 years, Joyce Marie; his children, Janie, Ken Jr., Joe, Sandy; and his sister, Gene Howard. Also surviving him are 6 precious grandchildren, their spouses; 7 great-grandkids; 3 great-great-grandbabies; and several special nephews and nieces.
Waiting for Ken in heaven are many family members and precious friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Temple Baptist Church to celebrate his life and his first Christmas with Jesus!
