Kenneth Stenerson, 65, passed on November 11, 2015. He was born on November 16, 1949 in Denver, CO. Ken was raised in Marion, IA and graduated Marion HS class of '67. Ken had the honor of serving with the US Army, stationed in Germany.
On September 5, 1969 he married Nancy Minninger, and on March 30, 1979 they welcomed home their baby girl, Alicia. The family left Cedar Rapids, IA moving to Albuquerque in '95.
Enjoying the outdoors, golf became a favored past time along with landscaping his yard. Ken was an avid sports fan, winning his Fantasy Football league three years running.
Ken was due to retire from the US Postal Service November 13, 2015.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy of Albuquerque, NM; daughter and son-in-law, Alicia and Ben Loomis of Seattle, WA; and brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Linda Stenerson of Allen, TX.
A Memorial Reception will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming Reception Center.
With heavy hearts his family says goodbye to a beloved Husband, Daddy, and Brother.
A special thank you to the close family friends that were there for Nancy and Alicia during this difficult time.
