Serafin-Kenneth J TSgt a 20 year veteran with the Air Force and longtime resident of Albuquerque, was called to his eternal home on October 2, 2021 after a long illness surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 22, 1959 in Buffalo, NY, Kenny volunteered for service in April of 1978 and was an engineering technician, and development specialist.
While in the Air Force Kenny received the Achievement Medal, Commendation Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Training Ribbon, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Overseas Long Tour Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Longevity Service Award, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon/Rifle, Outstanding Unit Award with Valor, and Good Conduct Medal.
Beloved husband to his bride of 40 years, Antonia Serafin; devoted father of Francisco (Amanda), Victor, Stephan (Lisa) Serafin; cherished Grandpa of Zachary, Lucas and Nathan Serafin. Kenny was a very loving and devoted husband, father and grandpa.
He was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Jessie (nee Flisek) Serafin. Loving brother of Robert (Mitzie), Stephen (Lenora), James (Margaret) Serafin and MaryAnn (Eugene) Topping. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held at FRENCH - Lomas on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 11:00A.M. With a prayer service to follow at 12:00P.M.
