Kenneth Ernst Peters

Kenneth Ernst Peters, age 64 of Rio Rancho, New Mexico and formerly of McHenry, IL, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022. He was born in Chicago, IL on Christmas Day.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth (Bergstrom); daughters, Heather Peters, and Sarah Peters; son, Jeffrey Peters; stepchildren, Geoffrey Miller, Jr., Steven Miller, Alison Miller, and Stephanie Miller; brother, Wayne (Catherine) Peters; sister, Judith (William) Wooster; grandson, Nathaniel Miller; mother-in-law, Naomi Wick, and father-in-law, Bruce Bergstrom, and nieces, nephew, great-nieces, great-nephew and many camping and church friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Evelyn Peters, and nephew, Steven Peters.

Ken worked for Cunat, Inc. in McHenry, IL for 23 years before retiring to New Mexico. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping, riding his Honda trike, woodcarving, making crafts, visiting friends and family, and exploring all New Mexico has to offer.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at Faith Church, 900 Southern Blvd, SE., Rio Rancho, NM 87124. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date in Illinois.
