Kenneth Nicholson, age 86, loving husband and father, passed peacefully to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, 18 October 2015. Kenneth was known for his missionary service to Liberia, West Africa, 1967-1993. He is survived by his wife of 58½ years, the love of his life, S. Joyce Nicholson; his children, Aaron Nicholson (Lucia), Miriam Nicholson, Jennifer Brizendine (Todd), and Jeannine Riederer (Max); eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his infant son, Daniel Kevin; his parents, George and Irena Nicholson; and sister, Geneva Freeman; infant brother, Samuel; brothers, Estel, Odell, and Cloyce. He is survived by his brother, Loyd. He also leaves many cherished nieces, nephews, and his beloved Liberian family. A Visitation will be Tuesday, October 27, 2015, 9:00 a.m. for family and 9:30 a.m. for public viewing at First Baptist Church of Bosque Farms. His Celebration Service will be 10:00 a.m. at the same location. Internment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering at The International Mission Board (IMB), 3806 Monument Ave., Richmond, VA 23230 (www.imb.org).
