Kenneth Robert Henderson, age 84. Our beloved father passed away in Albuquerque on March 7, 2017.
Born in Britton, SD March 28, 1932. He is survived by his five children, Nikki Henderson of Albuquerque, Shari Pearce of Burbank, CA, Lisa Scott of Albuquerque, Joby Henderson-Still of Albuquerque, and Sean Henderson of Denver, CO; and four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Henderson; mother, Rose Besuchet Henderson, of Marshall County, SD; and brother, Earl Foster Henderson of St. Paul, MN.
He served his country during the Korean conflict 1952-1954 in the Army at Fort Sill, OK where he met and married twice the mother of his children, Rosemarie Tabbytite Henderson. He was a member of the Moose Lodge East Heights #2241, Elks Lodge #461, and the American Legion Post 49. He drove school busses for Durham School Services, receiving recognition for 10 years of outstanding service in 2006 and retired shortly thereafter. His love of camping and taking road trips in his motor home is remembered, he will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends may visit Friday, March 10, 2017, 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
