Ken Gauthier, age 59, wonderful soul mate and buddy, devoted brother, family rock, jokester, and fierce competitor, passed away July 15, 2016 in Albuquerque, NM. Ken was known for his infectious smile, his zest for life, love of people, and his positive attitude. He had a love for biking, the great outdoors, and hiking his beloved Sandia Mountains.
He is preceded in death by his parents, J. George and Cynthia Gauthier of Pittsfield, MA. He is survived by his significant other, Remedios Vigil; sister, Karen (Dr. Phil) Adamo and their children, Meghan (Eric), Elise (Josh), and Matt; brothers, Tim (Kathy) and their children, Logan and Jordan, and Tom (Kris) Gauthier and their sons, Carson and Grant; stepdaughters, Vannesa (Steve) Mueller and their sons, Miles and Gabe, and Dolores (Ross) Belen and their daughter, Faith. He also leaves many cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins, and friends in the biking and technical communities.
A Memorial Ceremony will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, at 12500 Carmel Ave., Albuquerque, NM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org.
