Kenneth A. Williams

Kenneth A. Williams passed away peacefully on September 11, 2021 at his home in Albuquerque, NM. As his health declined the past few months his wish was to be in his home looking out his big window at the Sandia mountains.

Ken was born on August 7, 1929 in Ripley, Tennessee. He was married to the love of his life, Jerry, for 71 years. He said many times that she was the best thing that ever happened to him. Ken was known for his faith, wisdom, and the many stories he shared of his life over the years. The love of his grandchildren and great grandchildren was pure joy. Papa and Mamah were always their grandkids #1 fans in the stands at their sporting events. Ken and Jerry traveled the world, but his favorite place was at his cabin in the Jemez mountains.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jerry; his son, Kenny (Nancy), son Mike (Sheryl); his grandchildren, Karah (Casey), Audra (Greg), Ross (Bria), Kevin, and Kristan; as well as his great grandchildren, Kenley, and Callie.

Ken served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years, eventually becoming a Realtor, investor, and developer for over 50 years. He was a member of Sandia Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He will always be our special “Papa” and his legacy will live on through our family FOREVER.
