Kathryn Garrett, a resident of Albuquerque since 1972, died Wednesday, December 17, 2015. Kathryn is survived by her three children, Michele Lopez and her husband, Richard of Albuquerque, Susan Garrett of Chester, VA, and Michael Garrett and his wife, Jennifer of Heath, TX; eight grandchildren, Scott Green, Katherine Green, Leann Lopez, Jessica Green, Emily Davis and her husband, Eric, Eric Lopez, Timothy Garrett and wife, Lillie and Charlotte Garrett; two great grandsons, Landon Hubbard and Hugh Davis; and her sister, Patricia Barry of Cleveland, OH.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her husand of 48 years, J. A. Garrett; her parents, Clement Joseph and Mary Esther Mulvihill; her brother, Charles Mulvihill; and her sister, Phyllis Cornachio.
Kathryn worked for the Federal Government until her retirement in 1987. She was a loving wife, beloved mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 11:15 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe St., Santa Fe, NM
