Kathryn Findley, 72, went home to be with her Lord on December 18, 2014 after battling leukemia for 13 years. She is survived by Jim, her husband of 52 years; daughter Anita Foss and husband, Michael Foss; daughter Amy Rowe and husband, K. Michael Rowe; and grandchildren she adored: Kaitlin Foss, Suzanna Foss, Shelby Hicks, Kale Foss, and Wyatt Hicks. She is also survived by brother Leslie White and wife, Joan; brother Harold White and wife, Bea; sister Linda Vittitow Pearcey and husband, Jim; and sister Sherron Denhart and husband, Blake. Kathy was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico and was a life-long resident of Albuquerque and the East Mountains. She was in the first graduating class of Sandia High School. She was active in Bible Study Fellowship, led in women's Bible Studies and was an effective role model in small group Bible studies. Kathy was an avid quilter and actively involved with Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child. Kathy will be remembered for her hospitality, taking people under her wing, her strong Christian influence, strength of character, and strong faith. The family would like to thank the staff at the New Mexico Cancer Center for the wonderful treatment Kathy received during her illness. Visitation will be held at FRENCH - Lomas from 5-8p.m. on Monday, December 22, and funeral services will be held at Hope Evangelical Free Church, 4710 Juan Tabo Blvd NE on Tuesday, December 23 at 10:30 am. Interment follows at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
