Kathleen Ann Garcia

Kathleen (Kathy) A. Garcia, 69, passed away peacefully and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Kathy was born January 3, 1954, in San Bernadino, CA, to Eloy L. Zamora and Maclovia B. Sanchez de Zamora.

Surviving Kathy are her two daughters, Bernadette Garcia and her life friend, Martin Rodriguez, and three grandchildren, Luna, Miguel, and Marina; and Juanita Carpenter and her husband, Jason, and three grandchildren, Trinity, Isaiah, and Janae (deceased). Kathy is also survived by three sisters and two brothers, Juanita Zamora and her life partner, Gary Snover; Deborah Zamora-Soon and her husband, Stewart, and four children; Richard Zamora and his wife, Gladys, and three children; Ernesto Zamora and five children; and Ava Thomas and her husband, David. Kathy's life partner, Frank Zamora, passed in February 2023.

Kathy lived in Albuquerque from 1975 until the time of her passing. She attained an Associate degree in Cosmetology in 1999 and loved her craft and customers. She enjoyed family gatherings, cooking, crafting, fishing, and camping. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 10, 2023, 4:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming, with a reception immediately to follow.
