Katherine Martin Bennett

Katherine (Kaye) Bennett, age 86, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died on October 13, 2021. She is survived by her spouse, Lawrence (Larry); daughters, Rebecca and her husband Jerry of Albuquerque and Laura and her husband Dennis of Fort Worth, TX; and grandchildren Kaylie and Ryan both of Portland, Oregon. Kaye was a professional calligrapher and could spend hours at her desk. She enjoyed traveling with her husband of 64 years. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Cathedral. She attended the University of New Mexico graduating in 1958 with a fine arts degree. A memorial service will be held October 23, 2021, at 11:00am at St. John's Episcopal Cathedral, 318 Silver Ave. Albuquerque, NM 87102. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ballut Abyad Shrine Transportation Fund, 6600 Zuni Albuquerque, NM 87108.
