Katherine Babecka

Katherine (Kathy) Babecka, age 75, died peacefully on September 10, 2024, after a courageous battle from numerous health issues.

Katheine was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Frances Babecka and daughter Stephanie (Reed) DeLeon. Left to cherish her memory include her partner, Dennis Hotchkiss; sister, Barbara Garbiso; sister, Nancy Avila; sister, Deborah Sewall; brother, David Beck; brother, Steve Babecka; child, Johnny and Heather Reed; grandchildren, Cassandra Reed, Dominic and Ingrid Reed, Austin and Madison Ingalls, Nicholas and Alison Davis, Julia Davis, Ethan and McKayla DeLeon and Rihanna Everett. great-grandchildren, Greysen, Klayton, Augustus (Auggie), and Paisley; nephews and nieces, Mario and Stephanie Avila, Dawn (Avila) and Jade Montano, Michelle Wie, Shawn Sewall, William (Bill) Babecka, Amber Babecka, Liz Wiggins McKay, and Cindy O'Connell.

Katherine will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Whether it was going on walks with her sisters, spending time with her family and partner, cherishing her little babies (dogs) or going to the casino to unwind. May Katherine/Kathy/mom/Mammaw/ Grandma find eternal peace, surrounded by the gentle embrace of the ocean and sitting next to her daughter Stephanie. Her strong spirit will be forever remembered and her love enduring as the waves upon the shore of the coast.
