Karen Farias

Karen Farias, age 66, a caring mother and grandmother, a dedicated health care professional, and a genuinely kind human being, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022. Karen was known for her loving nature, determination, willfulness, generosity, and passion to help in any and every way that she could.

Karen had a truly Irish soul and loved traveling, having visited over 20 different countries throughout her life. She was also dedicated to trying to help to make the world a better place as she worked as a nurse practitioner for over 20 years.

She is survived by her son, Joshua, and her grandchildren, Issak, Zachery, Chris, Michael, and Abran. She also leaves behind her cherished cousins; niece, Sarah; and nephew, Davin. Also closely touching Karen's life was Nick LaRue and her many close friends and co-workers. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Katie and George Michael, and her brother, Steve.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, April 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., FRENCH – Westside in Albuquerque, New Mexico for all who want to come together and remember Karen Farias. Another celebration of life will be held in Texas at a later date.
