Karen Yvonne Duran

DURAN, KAREN YVONNE Age 72, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Sunday, October 19, 2014. She is survived by the love of her life, Fred Montano of Albuquerque; two sons, Kevin and Troy Duran; daughter-in-law, Stephanie; first husband, Tom Duran; grandchildren, Michael, Patricia, Benjamin, David, Christopher and Thomas; great-grandchild, Aurora; and life-long best friends, Georgia Murray and Marla Wilmot. Ms. Duran was preceded in death by her father and mother, John and Margaret Blake; and brother, Bruce Blake. Ms. Duran co-founded Falcon Ridge Development Real Estate, helping to build quality homes and communities throughout Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, and was active in her community, volunteering her time and service to New Mexico CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) serving as the voice for abused children in the New Mexico judicial process.
