EGNOR, JUSTIN ANTHONY "TONY" Age 83, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, October 6, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Jacqueline K. Egnor of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Gail A. (Dennis) Heflick of Albuquerque, NM; grandson, Gavin Gorrell; grandson, Cooper (Margo) Heflick; granddaughter, Jessica (Wilder) Castiblanco of Albuquerque, NM; and great-granddaughters, Charlotte Heflick and Santana Castiblanco. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and good friends. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Egnor; mother, Gertrude Egnor; one brother, Donald Egnor; and one sister, Rosemary Brown. He joined the Air Force when he was 17 years old and served his country proudly for the United States Air Force for over 30 years, he retired as a Chief Master Sergeant. Then Tony spent 13 years at Vandenberg AFB, where he worked on Satellites and also earned his BA degree. A member of the Lompoc Kiwanis Club, where he served as President and Secretary. Tony also served on numerous boards on Vandenberg AFB. After retirement he moved to Pleasanton, CA where Tony went to work for LockHeed Martin Industries as a group engineer. After 13 year with LockHeed Martin he retired for good. He moved to Longview, TX where he and his wife, Jacqueline pursued their passion for traveling and volunteering, they traveled to all fifty states, Europe, Taiwan, China, New Zealand and Australia. Tony was active the Pinetree Methodist Church, Longview Kiwanis Club and the ARK LA TEX thunderbird club. Tony was happiest when he was serving the needy children of the community, Kiwanis offered him a lifetime member award, Legion of Honor, Bush Award, and Hixon Award. They left many dear friends in the Longview area. In 1990 they moved to Albuquerque, to be closer to their daughter and family. Again they put children first in their volunteering. He leaves behind many good friends and neighbors. The family would like to thank all the people from Presbyterian Hospice, especially Sandy for her caring and loving ways.
