June Keller, age 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 20, 2022. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as the only child of William and Helen Keller. She married and spent the first part of her adult life as a military wife and mother, eventually settling in Albuquerque, where she completed her education at the University of New Mexico and worked as a math teacher for Albuquerque Public Schools for 25 years. She loved games and puzzles, was a prolific quilter, and an enthusiastic fan of the Pirates and Steelers.
She is survived by her four children, Kurt Williams (Jan) of Ft. Worth, TX, Karen Williams of Denver, CO, Kelly Williams (Michelle Vermette) of Placitas, NM, and Kraig Williams (Patricia McClure) of Albuquerque, NM; six grandchildren, Michelle Ruiz (Manuel), Melanie Batts, Joshua Flanagan (Lydia), Michael Gossen (Denise), Angella Hatton, and Allison Hatton Sandoval (Jimmy); 13 great-grandchildren, Evan (Larisa), Ethan, Elliott, Gracie, Julia, Olivia, Jax, Jordan, Alexandria, Aurora, Kayla, Seth, and Aaiden; and one great-great-granddaughter, Averie.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date with information to follow.
