June Swann Davies, age 90, a British War Bride from Waterloo, England met her husband George, an American Soldier stationed in England, and they were married in 1944. They became residents of Albuquerque in 1950. June passed away August 14, 2013 surrounded by family. She is survived by her daughter, Lindy Frady and husband Dan of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Lee Langen of Albuquerque, NM, Cheryl Sohl and her husband Bryan of Los Lunas, NM and Kevin Frady and wife Jill of Atlanta, GA; great-grandchildren, Christa, Shelby, Jayce and Peyton; brother, Neil Swann and wife Jo of Blanco, TX; nieces, Jan Watkin and Deb Shockley of Lakewood, CA, Stacy Niechaj of Albuquerque, NM, Vicki Swann of Austin, TX, Susan Swann of CA; and nephew, Michael Swann of Austin, TX. June was preceded in death by her husband, George Davies; her father, William Swann and mother, Dorothy Swann. June took great pride in being a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She and her husband George enjoyed bowling on several leagues and June was a fantastic bowler and won many trophies. Services will be held on Monday, August 19, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
