Julián Emiliano Cabrera, age 6, fell asleep in Jesus on November 5 after a brief illness. His spirit is carried on by his parents, Juan Marcelo and Yajaira Cabrera; his siblings Camila, nine; Mauricio, two; and Fátima, six months; his grandparents Deacon Juan Manuel Cabrera and María; Leticia Mercado, of Guadalajara; two aunts, three uncles, and seven cousins. Julián, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, was born August 24, 2012; spoke English and Spanish; was a second-generation Mustang at Griegos Elementary; and a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe. His favorite superhero was Batman. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, December 7 at 7:00 pm at FRENCH - University. The Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated by Friar José Luis Peralta, OFM, at 9:00 am on Saturday, December 8, at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1860 Griegos Road, with interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Isaac Martínez, cousin; Francisco Pérez, uncle; Jesús Martínez, godfather; Nicolás Cabrera, uncle, of New York, NY; Juan Manuel Cabrera, grandfather; and Luis Montiel, great-grandfather.
