Julia Beth Palmer

Julia Palmer, age 79, was born on June 21st, 1937 in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, September 2nd, 2016. Julia was known for her intellectual pursuits throughout life and her genuine love for others. She was a lifetime member and donor of AAUW and Hadassah. She appreciated and donated to the Chamber Music of Albuquerque and sang in the Albuquerque Civic Chorus. She is survived by her children, Scott Palmer and David McIntyre; and her granddaughter, Katlyn Palmer. She also leaves many cherished family members and friends. Julia was preceded in death by her father, George Ellis Palmer; her mother, Ruth Isabel Hamersly Palmer; siblings, Steven Sanford Palmer and Katherine Ann Palmer. A Visitation will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at Nie Funeral Home, 2400 Carpenter Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48108. Interment will follow at Botsford Cemetery in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
