Julevieve Mae (Moore) Morrow of Cedar Crest, New Mexico passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 at home surrounded by family. She was 86 years old. Julevieve was born to Cecil and Dorthy (Mahoney) Moore on March 16, 1938 in Solano, New Mexico. She is survived by her husband Donald Roy Morrow, daughter Andrea Balestri (Joe), son Scott Morrow (Lorianne), 6 grand children, 7 great grandchildren, brother Leroy Moore (Kay), sister Helen Boulware, and nephews Joe Boulware (Jennie) and Kyle Moore (Cindy). She is preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Dorthy Moore, brother-in-law Richard Boulware, and niece Yetta (Boulware) Seaney.
Julevieve grew up on her family's farm and dairy in Solano, New Mexico. She attended elementary and intermediate school in Solano and then attended high school in Roy where she was active in 4-H. Julevieve married Donald Morrow on June 1, 1956 at her parent's house in Solano. They honeymooned in Yellowstone then moved to Prescott, Arizona. She worked in a plastics factory until they moved back to Albuquerque where Donald worked at KNME, Channel 5. Julevieve was a housewife and raised two children after they built their home in Cedar Crest. Julevieve was a great cook, loved the outdoors, was a hard worker, and absolutely loved her grandchildren. She was active in church, Girl Scouts, Extension Homemakers Club, and wildlife conservation groups. She loved to travel, camp, sew, and do arts and crafts. She and Donald square danced for years with the Mountain Doers club. When Donald retired in 1999, they traveled in their fifth wheel trailer and took cruises. Their travels took them to Canada, the Bahamas, Belize, Yucatán peninsula, Alaska, Mexico several times, and numerous places across the US. Julevieve Mae (Moore) Morrow will be missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please donate to NM Boys & Girls Ranch or All Faiths Receiving Home. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at Mountainside United Methodist Church, 4 Penny Lane, Cedar Crest NM.
