Judy (Woodhouse) Dunken passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the age of 74. She was born on Monday, June 13, 1949, in Provo, Utah.

She met and married the love of her life, Lee Dunken in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, whom she was married to for 35 years until his passing. She resided in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 38 years where she was a world language teacher at multiple schools in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe area until she retired. After retirement, she moved to California with her son where she resided for 12 years before moving to Boise, Idaho and becoming a grandma.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Lee, sister, L’Rene (Woodhouse) Smith, mother, Venice (Hanks) Woodhouse and father, Ron Woodhouse. She is survived by her son, Jacob (Kerri) and granddaughter Erica.

Judy had many passions in life. She was a lifelong learner who enjoyed reading, genealogy, travel, and quilting. She also had a passion for animals, the outdoors, and was always up for a ride through the countryside or to stop and watch any wildlife she encountered.

Judy is loved very much and will be sorely missed. She was always there for her family and brought warmth to all around her.

A Memorial will be held in Ogden, Utah and she will later be laid to rest at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico with her husband Lee.
