Judith Ann Smith, age 71, originally of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away in Watertown, MA on November 3, 2014. A Rosary service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming. Judy's life will be celebrated at a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 811 Guaymas Pl NE. Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque. Judy was born February 5, 1943 to Al and Frances (Kniola) Dusza. On May 21, 1971, she married the love of her life, Robert Smith, who preceded her in death on July 1, 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Leigh Taylor and husband, Patrick Taylor, and grandsons, Austin and Dylan of Aurora, CO; son, Andrew Smith and wife, Maxine Smith; grandson, Mark Rael and his fiancAC.e, Sabrina Leyba of Albuquerque, NM; son, Timothy Smith and wife, Sarah Smith and granddaughter, Cecilia of Boston, MA; sister, Betty Wandell and husband, Robert of Rockford, IL; brother-in-law, Bernie Smith of Michigan City, IN; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends scattered across the country. Although Judy loved her family first and foremost she was also passionate about singing, serving in her church and cooking. She worked as a teacher's aide in different elementary and middle schools in Albuquerque. She loved her family and friends and will be missed very much by all that knew and loved her.
