Judith E. (Eastman) Meyners

Judith Meyners, 78, beloved Wife and Mother, was called to her eternal resting place on May 12, 2018. She entered this world on December 5, 1939 in Fort Collins, CO, born to Bruce and Bobbie Eastman. She is survived by her husband, for 59 years, Richard Meyners; son Eric and wife Lois Meyners and their children Gustav, Mason and Elsa; daughter, Brenda and husband Lon Sears and their children, Trent and Kara; daughter, Noël Harris and her fiancée Louis Vaughn and her children, Zoë and Sophia. She was known as Dewa to all of her grandchildren except Zoë. To Zoë she was Duah. Judith was a registered nurse, with her final years of employment with Albuquerque Public Schools as a school nurse. Judith will be remembered for her community service. She was a board member at Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp during a pivotal time. In her retirement years she was active in the Albuquerque Assistance League as a board member and served as its president from 2008-2009. The family requests that donations be made to the New Mexico Cancer Center Foundation in lieu of flowers. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday June 7, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1100 Indian School Road.
