Juana Villa Dominguez

Juana Dominguez, age 91, who was a beloved individual who had many titles such as mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother was called to join her husband Jose R. Dominguez on Monday, November 18, 2024. Juana was born Tuesday, August 29, 1933, in Artesia, New Mexico to Hejesipa and Nemesio Villa. Early on in life she met her husband of 69 years before he passed. They moved to Roswell in 1972 and opened East Second Shell gas station. In the early 80's she followed her love for kids and worked as a head start Teachers Aid as well as being a caregiver to a long-time friend. Juana was a very social individual who enjoyed cooking for her visitor and relaxed by crocheting. Juana enjoyed going to church having a house full of grandchildren. In 1998 she became the primary caregiver for her husband till his passing in 2019. She lived out the rest of her life in Albuquerque where she enjoyed her son, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her bother, Benny Villa; sisters, Mary Villa Hernandez, Emily and her husband, Ignacio Daiz. Her son, Pete and his wife, Bertha Dominguez; grandchildren, Joseph and his wife, Michelle Dominguez, Monique Rubio, Alicia and her husband, Chris Cabrera, Aliah and her husband, John Anguiano, Celestina and her husband, German Dominguez, Emilio and his wife, Angelina Dominguez, her nineteen great-grandkids and eleven great-great grandkids. Please join us in celebrating her life on Tuesday November 26, 2024 at 6:00 pm at FRENCH- Lomas for the Viewing and on Wednesday, November 27. 2024 at 9:30 am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5300 Phoenix Ave NE, for the Rosary and Mass followed by a Reception at Oasis Event center.
