Joyce Anne Meck-Clark, age 72, of Albuquerque NM, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 19, 2022, after a long illness. Her husband, Thomas A. Clark was by her side.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, on December 15, 1949, Joyce was the daughter of the late Richard E. and Dorothy L. (Grawert) Myers. She was a 1967 Crafton High School graduate, and a 1969 Art Institute of Pittsburgh graduate. Her long career in graphic design began in the ceiling design division of Armstrong World Industries. She spent the last thirty years as a self-employed graphic designer, water color artist, and photographer. She also enjoyed wood carving, carving and painting gourds and walking sticks, working with leather, and playing guitar.
Joyce has also lived in Lancaster, PA, and Maui, HI. She enjoyed travel, most notably a trip to Israel. Joyce had a lifelong love of dogs, especially Airedale terriers. She attended Calvary Church of Albuquerque, where she was involved with the photo ministry, and an outreach program with Instruments of Faith, their guitar group.
Surviving in addition to husband Tom, is daughter and son-in-law Michelle (Stephan) and Michael Geiger; and grandson, Zachary, all of Lancaster PA; brother and sister-in-law Ronald and Susan Myers of Quakertown PA; sister and brother-in-law Suzanne and Mark Kosarich of Fayetteville NC, sister and brother-in-law Sheryl and Fred Branovan of Pittsburgh PA; as well as several loved nieces, a nephew, and grandnieces and a grandnephew.
Service will be held at Calvary Church of Albuquerque, date/time to be announced.
