Joyce Anne (Cooper) Croughan

Joyce A. Croughan, 79, passed away at her home on Saturday, June 2, 2018. She was born December 18, 1938 in Liverpool, England the daughter of Alfie and Annie Cooper. She was the beloved wife and best friend of her one and only love of 56 years, the late Leslie J. Croughan (June 8, 2016). A devoted mother of Andrew (Wendy) Croughan, Alison (Bruce) Davies, Scott (Deborah) Croughan, Heather (Reggie) Russell and son-in-law, Randy (Cass) Corcoran. Her daughter Katie Corcoran preceded her in death in 2009. A Rosary will take place on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 10:15 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd NE. Funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m.

“Nana” was a feisty, caring person with a great sense of humor. She will be missed by her 12 grandchildren, Josh (Kate), Stefanie and Jared Davies, Morgen, Cooper and Emma Croughan, Ryan and John Corcoran, Evann Russell, Gabby Diaz and Kayla and Megan Lelacqua. She is also survived by her sister, Anne Hadley, nephew Drew Hadley (Danielle) and their children Cameron and Madison. Nephew Rick Hadley passed away in 2008.

She greeted everyone with a smile and was extremely proud of her British accent! Joyce was a devoted parishioner at Our Lady of Fatima church and some of her favorite years were serving as the director of the afterschool program.
