Joyce Ann Barham

Joyce Ann Barham was born to Frances M. Sheaffer and Wilbur B. Sheaffer on July 19, 1940, and passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021, in Albuquerque, NM.

She was born in Emporia, KS and moved to Albuquerque at age four.  Joyce married David C. Barham on December 5, 1959.

She is survived by David, her husband of 61 years; sons, Michael D. Barham, Gary S. Barham, William J. Barham and his wife, Beth; and grandsons, Alex L. Barham and Christopher J. Barham.

Joyce graduated from Highland High School and attended business college.  She was first employed by Sandia National Laboratories and then Lovelace Hospital.  She also was a volunteer at Lovelace hospital for several years.  Joyce and David enjoyed spending time at their second home at Conchas Lake and traveled by RV in later years.

A private Celebration of Life will be held with close friends and family.  In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to America Cancer Society.
