Joyce Aker

Age 73, peacefully passed from this life on Saturday, January 31, 2015. She was born in Kentucky and has been a resident of New Mexico for more than 60 years. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Marlin Aker, Jr.; children Pamela and husband Ron McCall, Mendy and husband Mark Newman and Marlin "Lin" Aker, III; three grandchildren Jordan McCall, Amanda Newman and Heather Newman; siblings Neil Simmons and wife Cristie and Malissa and husband Gary Goff; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson Coulter McCall. Service will be Friday, February 6, 2015, 1:00 p.m. at Northeast Church of Christ, 11000 Paseo Del Norte NE.
