Josie Sanchez

Age 81, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 5, 2014. She is survived by her daughters, Julia Pichette and husband, Bill, Lorena Simmons, Jeanette Orona, and Theresa Sanchez; 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sisters, Stella Sanchez and Dorothy Bustamante; and two nieces. She was known as "Grandma Josie" to all the children she cared for. A viewing will be held, Sunday, March 9, 2014, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at FRENCH - University, with family and friends sharing memories beginning at 6:00 p.m. Josie's life will be celebrated, Monday, March 10, 2014, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - University. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
