Heaven is a real place. On Wednesday, March 3, amongst all her children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and dear friends, Josephine's life and death sounded these words, "God called me home, and even though you can't come with me, I'll be waiting for you. Don't wish I were still with you, instead, wish you were with me. Do not let anything get in the way of you being here."

Josie's life began on September 4th, in Pueblo, Colorado. The youngest of six children born to Lola and Antonio Valerio, she was the last of her siblings to take the journey home. Josie and her late husband, Tom, were cofounders of Right Way Roofing. All of Josie's eight children have survived her, and since the death of her husband five years ago, they were ever by her side; never allowing her to spend one night alone. Her six sons include Daniel, Edward, Jaime, Jerome, Lou, and John. Her two daughters are Lois and Michelle. Almost closer than her own children, are her daughters-in-law, Alice, Emily, Pennie, Renee, Peggy, and Debra. Her most favored sons-in-law are John and Jerry. She is adored and respected by 35 grandchildren including her beloved Damian, who is with her in heaven; and 27 great-grandchildren who mostly called her "Nana". Her friends were in the thousands and countless others called her "mom". Her family gives their heartfelt thanks to her dear niece and daytime caregiver, Martianne Delmont and her close companion, Jenny Valdez.

Come join us at an incredibly special gathering and hear the story of her life through her children. It will be a time of great celebration, more than a few tears and many touching memories.

Calvary Chapel has graciously opened their large facility for this gathering to accommodate all that would like to come. They adhere to Covid safe practices.
Services will be held, Saturday, March 27 at 10:00 am at 4001 Osuna Rd NE.
