Josephine Gonzales, 91, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt and friend was called to her eternal resting place on November 28, 2017. She entered this world on August 11, 1926 in Tucumcari, NM, born to Secundino and Salome Rivera. She is preceded in death by her husband Joe I. Gonzales Sr. and daughter Karla Diane Black. She is survived by her son, Joe I. Gonzales Jr. and wife Shirley from Reno, Nevada; and daughter, Lorinda Bass from Albuquerque, New Mexico; daughter; Sandra Thompson and husband Steve Thompson from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She had twelve Grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren and twenty five great great grandchildren. Josephine served in the Catholic Church as a Eucharistic Minister. A Rosary will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at 1502 Sara Rd.
