Joseph Richard Wakeen

Joseph R. Wakeen, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed on to his eternal home on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, leaving behind his wife of 59 years, Tomasita Wakeen; five daughters, Jennifer Wakeen, Susan Rothschild (husband Kevin), Carolyn Tanksley (husband Jerry), Terry Edgeington (husband James), and Joey Davis (husband Roger); sister, Marilyn Faulkner (husband Bill); four grandsons, Nathan Wilson (wife Dierdre), Khale Rothschild, Joshua Davis and Asher Davis; four granddaughters, Jessica Nathe (husband Tyler), Danielle Lowdermilk, Audra Botkin (husband Samuel), and Marley Alexander (husband Royce); along with four beautiful great-grandchildren, Aaliyah and Zion Alexander, Rylan Perez, and Ezra Wilson.  Joseph was born December 13, 1935 to Albert and Yvonne Wakeen who have both preceded him in death. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019, 9:30 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial will follow, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church at 5712 Paradise Blvd NW.
