Joseph Gerado Hipkins

On September 20, 2023 Joseph, 13, passed suddenly in his hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born in Martinez, California on September 13, 2010, and passed away a week after his 13th birthday. He loved making art and spending time with his brothers and friends from school. He was an adventurer, very curious and inquisitive. He was precocious. He was brilliant. He would hang with the adults and chat about whatever, concept or abstract things and then go off and say, "OK, I am going to go do kid things now." He went to MAS and then transferred to James Monroe middle school where he met some of his closest friends. He was in 8th grade at the time of his passing. Joseph was a very loving, caring and kind hearted young man, and was ready to take on the world. He was always willing to help anyone with anything. He is survived by his father Angel, brothers Jordan, Michael, and Rohan, grandparents Angel and Josephine, auntie Melinda and uncle Issac, uncle Anthony and auntie Stephanie, Uncle Joe and brother Tyson, auntie Kelly "Mom", auntie Becca "what do you want from me auntie Becca", cousins Elijah, Josiah, Anthony, Aaliyah, Mariah, Elyana, Elijah, Analea , Gabe, and Charles Joseph. We are going to miss his weird laugh, his big ears, his contagious smile, his kind and loving heart, and his big hugs. Joseph still had his entire life to live. We are going to miss everything about Joseph and he his going to be missed by many. Rest in Peace Buddy!
