Our amazing patriarch, Jose Sigfredo Rendon, Sr. has gone to be with his Lord and Savior and with the love of his life-our beautiful mother, Angelita. He was born in Velarde, NM, on March 23, 1930 to Andalecio and Adelina Rendon. Dad served in the U.S. Army, and was a Korean War Veteran, a service of which he was very proud. He worked as a cement mason superintendent for Jaynes Corporation for 30 years. Dad left a legacy of love and respect, and a strong sense of family. He loved his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and brothers and sisters dearly. He showed us what it meant to lead by example. He was blessed by the Lord, and throughout his lifetime, passed those blessings on to his family and friends. He is survived by his adoring children, Jose Jr. and wife, Marie, Josie and husband, Ernie Arvizu, Rudy Rendon, Diana Rendon, Sandra and husband, Larry Powell, Yolanda and husband, Manuel Chavez, and Orlando Rendon; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brother, Armando (Lennette) Rendon; sisters, Lucita Valdez, Flora (Joe) Martinez, and Cora (Mike) Montoya; and sisters-in-law, Bernie Rendon, Merced Barreras, Maggie Telles, and Consuelo Duran.
