On Thursday, July 8, 2021, our beloved family member Jose Anthony Gutierrez passed away peacefully at UNM Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Gutierrez, and Annie Gutierrez; grandparents, Angelita Mora, and Federico Mora; sister, Marie Gutierrez; brother, Robert Gutierrez; and brother-in-law, Johnny Tapia. He is survived by the mother of his children, Christine Leon; their children, Shayna, Bobby, Anthony “Angel”, Annie, and Nadyah; nine grandchildren, Ernest, Esseney, Elias, Elexa, Jayla, Angel, Adrian, Marcelino, and Aiden; as well as his sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and many other family members.

A Service will take place at 12:00 p.m., on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at New Beginnings Church, 4770 Montgomery Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.

Pallbearers will Ernest Archuleta, Jessie Romero, Jr., Salomon Chavez, Lorenzo Tapia, Niccolai Tapia, and Rickey Gutierrez. Honorary pallbearers are Elias Archuleta, Bobby Gutierrez, and Angel Gutierrez.
