Jose De Jesus Maria Sandoval

Jesus Sandoval, age 91, happy, well-loved father, brother, and friend passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Jose was devoted to Jesus, his church, and his family. He is survived by his sister, Vicky Line; his children, Angela Chavez and Joanna Knox; his son-in-law, Ben Knox; his stepchildren, Gilbert Manny Gallegos, Danny Gallegos, Annabelle Gallegos, and Esperanza Marie Chavez; his grandchildren, Frutoso Anthony Chavez, Celina Rose Chavez, and Daniel Jesus Benjamin Knox. He also leaves many cherished nephews, nieces, and cousins. Also touching his life but preceding him were his parents, Antonio de Maria Sandoval; his mother, Candida Samora; his siblings, Juan A. Sandoval, Jose Refugio Sandoval, Petra Lucero, Eduardo Sandoval, and Guadalupe Vigil; his son, Anthony Sandoval; and his stepson, Jimmy Gallegos.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, 7:45 a.m., at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph's Dr. NW. A Rosary at 8:15 a.m. and Mass at 9:00 a.m. will be held at the same church. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. After the interment, we will have a reception from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University Reception Center, 1111 University Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
