Jonathan Rey Rosales

Jonathan Rey Rosales, age 26, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021.

Jonathan was born Sunday, May 22, 1994 in Albuquerque, NM. He attended Cibola and Charter High school. He had various types of jobs, but what he really enjoyed doing, was being a cook. He was very creative and artistic, he loved to write poems. He had a knack for singing, which his babies loved, and it was sweet watching them sing together. He loved playing video games, he enjoyed all cartoons that he watched with his babies, siblings, nephew, niece, and was a big kid at heart. He was a fan of anything Marvel and Star Wars. He liked to take his babies to the park, he enjoyed a variety of music, and writing his own versions of songs. His world was his babies and family. He loved traveling with his father in the semi when he was younger to see the world. He had a passion for motorcycles and wanted to take his daddy’s bike over, he always said “that's my bike I want to ride with you, with the wind in my face."

Jonathan is survived by his mother, Mariangel Clair and her husband, Patrick of Albuquerque, NM; his father, Lorenzo Rosales and his wife, Jill of Edgewood, NM; his sister, Gabriela Martin and her husband, Tashan of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Rosalyn Rosales; sister, Angel Rosales; step-sister, Alisha Merkey; step-brother, Wyatt Sentz; step-brother, Nicholas Clair; step-brother, Adam Clair; his two precious children, Xamarra Maria Rosales, 3 yrs., and Mattyus L.J. Rosales, 9 months; grandmother, Rosa Rosales; grandfather, Manuel Rosales; nephew, Areyshan Leeper; niece, Thalaisa Martin; and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his grandmother, Armida Valencia; grandfather, Justino Ibarvo; cousin, Arturo Ibarvo; and his cousin Celene Rosales.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at FRENCH-University. After the Service, family and friends are invited to 432 1st Street SW, Rio Rancho, NM, to share memories and to celebrate the life of Jonathan.
