Johnny Moore, Jr.

Johnny Moore, Jr., age 85, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on Thursday, October 27, 2022. He entered this world on August 11, 1937, in Chandler, CO, born to John and Josephine Moore.

He was the oldest of 9 children and is survived by his wife, Julia Moore; daughter, Sandra Drake; son, Michael Moore; daughter, Carol Lovato; son, Christopher Moore; and daughter, Elizabeth White; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Johnny served as a mental health nurse in the Air Force from 1973 - 1989, and as a mental health nurse with the Veterans Administration Hospital from 1989 - 1999. Johnny was a Fourth Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus..

A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 8:15 a.m., followed by a Mass at 9:00 a.m., St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph's Dr. NW - Albuquerque, NM 87120. Interment will follow at 10:30 a.m., Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE in Albuquerque.
